LCD Construction Inc. is a general remodeling and construction contractor working throughout Chicago, IL & surrounding suburbs. We build, remodel and renovate — and we handle service and maintenance too.
Who we are
A general contractor, in the full sense of the phrase
Plenty of companies call themselves general contractors and then subcontract every trade on the job. LCD Construction Inc. is built the other way around: the work that makes up a remodel — framing, drywall, finish carpentry, cabinet and flooring installation, siding and exterior work, decks and patios, foundations, and interior and exterior painting — is what we do.
That matters most in the gaps. A remodel run by separate trades stalls between them: the framer finishes, the drywaller is booked two weeks out, the cabinets land with nobody there to set them. Carrying the sequence ourselves means one schedule and one company responsible for the result.
Our approach to the business is straightforward — integrity, fairness, honesty, personal responsibility, and quality workmanship. We are watchful of the customer's interests, because the customer's concerns are the basis of the business.

One contractor is answerable for the whole job. When the same company frames the wall and paints the trim, there is nobody to point at.
Quality workmanship
Accurate knowledge of the trade combined with the ability to carry it out. The unglamorous parts — prep, substrate, waterproofing — are where that shows.
What we take on
From a single trade to the whole house
Some clients bring us one trade — drywall repair, a deck rebuild, a room to paint. Others hand over a kitchen, a lower level or an addition from the first day of demo to the walkthrough. Both are normal, and both get the same standard of work.
