LCD Construction Inc. handles trim and cabinetry across the whole house: crown and baseboard, door and window casing, wainscoting and panel details, built-in shelving and benches, closet systems, stair parts and railings, and the installation of stock, semi-custom or custom cabinetry in kitchens, baths, laundry rooms, mudrooms and offices.

How the work runs
The process, step by step
Every stage below is handled by LCD Construction Inc. — you are not hiring the next trade separately once the previous one leaves.

Check the substrate
Walls, floors and openings measured for square, level and plumb — because trim has to work with what is actually there.
- 02
Plan the layout
Reveals, joint placement and cabinet run layout decided before cutting, so seams land where they are least visible.
- 03
Install
Cabinets set level and scribed to the walls; trim coped and mitered, fastened and glued at joints.
- 04
Adjust
Doors and drawers aligned across the run, hardware set consistently, and gaps checked from standing eye level.
- 05
Fill, caulk and finish
Nail holes filled, joints caulked and surfaces sanded, then painted or stained.

- Cabinetry: stock, semi-custom and custom lines, painted or stained
- Doors: hollow-core, solid-core and solid-wood units
- Stair parts: wood treads, risers and railing systems

Can you install cabinets I ordered myself?
Yes. Bring us the plan and the delivery date and we will handle installation, scribing, fillers, crown and hardware. We will flag anything about the order that is going to be a problem before it arrives.
Can you match trim in an older house?
Often. Older profiles are sometimes still available, sometimes need to be milled, and sometimes are best matched by combining stock profiles. We will show you the options and what each costs.
Do you refinish or reface existing cabinets?
We do cabinet installation and carpentry rather than refinishing. If your boxes are sound, we will tell you straight whether new doors and hardware make more sense than a full replacement.
Can you build a custom built-in for an odd space?
That is one of the best uses of finish carpentry — under stairs, in dormer knee walls, or around a chimney chase. We build to the space rather than trying to fit a stock unit into it.
